Logica boosts asset management with Maximo
Logica Australia, a leading IT and business services provider, today announced it has expanded its asset management offering by signing a new agreement with IBM to resell, deliver and support Maximo® Asset Management. The agreement builds upon Logica’s existing asset management services portfolio to help clients achieve maximum value from their asset base and provide further options to its clients.
“Logica already has a very strong asset management practice in Australia,” said years to design, build and manage enterprise asset management solutions that help them gain maximum value from their asset life cycles.”20 Paul Sargeant, Director, Enterprise Asset Management. “We have been working closely with our clients over the past
“Our clients will now be able to procure this best of breed asset management software directly from Logica, packaged with certified professionals who understand the core benefits and challenges of integrating Maximo with exiting systems to simplify their processes,” added Sargeant.
Maximo is asset management software that provides lifecycle and maintenance management for all asset types to help companies gain maximum value from their investment, business and IT assets within their lifecycle. The software provides a single platform to track enterprise assets, ICT assets, and mobility assets, and is a critical application for Logica’s clients in the energy and utilities, transport and logistics, engineering services, retail and public sectors.
Logica is one of the few organisations that has IBM Maximo certified professionals working across both its sales and delivery teams. Logica’s skilled team supports clients with planning, implementation and the ongoing management of Maximo to remove the complexity and ensure a smooth transition.
“The most effective asset management solutions are those that track assets across the whole enterprise, rather than taking a siloed approach for individual departments. We help our clients take this philosophy one step further by showing them where they can achieve additional benefits by integrating Maximo with other critical business systems and supporting this rollout,” said Sargeant.
Logica has strong business practices providing services to support and deliver Enterprise Asset Management, GIS, SCADA, Mobility and Infrastructure. Logica provides a comprehensive service for its clients who need to track a broad range of assets across each of these areas providing consulting, implementation, management and training services that support Maximo.
“By supporting data flow across diverse systems, our clients have the best possible intelligence for making decisions for their asset management and forecasting, which will directly impact their bottom line,” said Sargeant.
Logica has already supported and delivered a number of large asset management projects with Maximo for its long term clients in the energy and utilities, and transport and logistics sectors.
"Logica has a strong reputation for its specialist industry knowledge in the energy and utilities, transport and logistics, and public sectors, which means our clients in this area will have available a high standard of expertise to successfully implement and manage Maximo asset management solutions.” Adrian Hocking, Australia and New Zealand Regional Manager for Maximo at IBM, is pleased to announce this new partnership. “We have partnered with Logica to make it even easier for our clients to acquire IBM’s Enterprise Asset Management solutions," said Adrian Hocking.
Logica will hold a series of sessions in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney to launch its comprehensive Maximo capability to its customers across transport and logistics, energy and utilities, retail and the public sectors, in the upcoming months.
