Logica appoints Bill Richards as Chief Client Officer
Logica Australia, a leading IT and business services provider, today announced that Bill Richards will step up into the newly created Chief Client Officer role.
Working across Logica’s client base to deliver IT services that better address their evolving business challenges, Richards will drive the direction and delivery of Logica’s broad range of consulting and IT services. These include Smart Networks, Smart Infrastructure, Asset Management, Information Management, Application Development and Managed Services.
The new position reports directly to Colin Holgate, CEO Logica Asia Pacific and Australia. “Bill Richards will lead the Australian sales and marketing divisions to implement our strategy of growth through long term partnerships with our clients. This new position has been created to expand our alliance with key clients,” Holgate explained.

Richards has been with Logica since 2000. He has held a number of executive roles in delivery leadership with a strong focus on building Logica’s long term client partnerships. Bill’s previous role focused on sales and project delivery within Logica’s Managed Services division which he built into one of the company’s key revenue generators.
Prior to joining Logica, Richards had a number of sales and service delivery focused roles within the IT and telecoms space, including working as the Outsourcing Manager for MITS. He holds a Diploma of Applied Science from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia.
